Built for staying, not just sleeping
Kitchenettes, washing machines and living rooms mean a fortnight feels as easy as a night. Guests cook, work and rest here.
About us
Jasy Retreat Moshi Kilimanjaro is an aparthotel and lodge built around a green courtyard of stone-clad, red-roofed cottages.
Our story
Moshi fills up with climbers, safari travellers, volunteers and researchers — people who arrive for two weeks and end up staying a month. Hotel rooms were never designed for that. So we built apartments instead: real kitchens, real living rooms, balconies that face the mountain, and a courtyard where guests actually meet each other.
Every unit is air-conditioned and self-catering, with a private bathroom, washing machine, refrigerator, microwave and flat-screen TV. Around them sit a sun terrace, a coffee shop, an outdoor fireplace and shaded seating that gets used every evening.
The restaurant serves continental and à la carte breakfast with local specialities, fresh juice, pancakes and fruit, and handles room service and special diets throughout the day. Private check-in and check-out keeps arrivals unhurried.

What we care about
Kitchenettes, washing machines and living rooms mean a fortnight feels as easy as a night. Guests cook, work and rest here.
The whole property is walled and gated with an automated entrance, security lighting and parking inside the compound.
Our team is from Moshi. The coffee, the produce and the guides we recommend all come from the villages around the mountain.
A 24-hour front desk and concierge means 3 a.m. trek departures and midnight arrivals are perfectly normal here.
